Francois Passant joined Eurosif on September 1st, 2011 as Executive Director. François has over fifteen years experience in the financial services industry, most of which in asset management.

He is a former Executive Director of Vanguard Investments Europe, the European subsidiary of The Vanguard Group, Inc. where he was most recently in charge of European Planning and Development. Between 2006 and 2008, he acted as a Deputy Managing Director with direct responsibilities including compliance and regulatory matters. While at Vanguard, he gathered a wealth of experience in marketing, product, sales and general management roles, servicing various European institutional investors, whether pension or sovereign funds, financial institutions and multimanagers.

Prior to this, François served as a manager within Deloitte Consulting financial services practice in Luxembourg and as Marketing and Product Development Manager for a Luxembourg-based life insurance company. François performed lately pro-bono lobbying work for the European Federation of Investors (EuroInvestors) in Brussels. François holds a Business Degree from the Reims Management School and a Master's degree in Management and Technology from Ecole Centrale de Paris. He and his family are based in Brussels.
