Geert Waelkens

A Belgian national, Geert graduated from the Free University of Brussels in International Relations and began his career with a Belgian trade association. In 1991 he started working as a public affairs advisor and later broadened his scope to issues management and (crisis) communication on EU and pan-European level. He has managed a media analysis project for the European Commission and has developed an expertise in EU public policy initiatives affecting responsible investors.
