EIRIS is one of the largest independent SRI research organisations worldwide. Our core business is undertaking research into corporate environmental, social and governance (ESG) management and performance. We provide global coverage, offering data on more than 80 research areas for some 2,800 companies in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.

The majority of EIRIS clients access research through EIRIS Portfolio Manager (EPM), a software product designed to simplify investing according to a socially responsible or sustainable investment policy. EPM provides access to all EIRIS research which can then be filtered, scored or screened according to each individual user’s requirements. As well as the EPM tool, EIRIS offers a range of other products:

• Country Sustainability Ratings designed to assist responsible investors distinguish between sovereign bond issuers on ESG issues;
• research on corporate adherence to international norms through its Convention Watch service;
• climate change data as well as a carbon profiling service through its Climate Change Toolkit;
• a PRI toolkit designed to help investors implement the UN Principles for Responsible Investment.

Nearly 100 clients across Europe, North America and Asia including SRI retail funds, pension funds, asset managers and charities, as well as the FTSE4Good Index, utilise EIRIS products.

EIRIS is an independent, non-profit organisation. EIRIS does not promote one particular view on SRI & ESG issues. Rather, we provide clients with the information they need to put their own SRI principles and concerns or those of their clients into practice.
