Henderson Global Investors is an international investment management company headquartered in London, UK. Our wide range of investment products and services covers all major asset classes, including equities, government and corporate bonds, property, private capital, hedge funds and portfolio management services. Overall we manage more than £57.7 billion (as of 30th September 2009) and we employ over 900 people around the world.

Henderson is a leading SRI provider with an established track record. We have been managing funds with an SRI dimension since 1977 and now have £704 million (as of 30th September 2009) of sustainable and responsible investment funds under management for retail and institutional clients, charities and private clients. Our retail SRI funds comprise the well established Henderson Industries of the Future fund and the Henderson Global Care range of funds. The funds are managed by a dedicated team of SRI specialists in London including fund managers, analysts as well as corporate governance expertise.

We seek to deliver long term out performance by investing in 'Industries of the Future' and companies demonstrating high standards of corporate, social and environmental conduct. We define 'Industries of the Future' as those companies offering sustainability solutions in ten themes including cleaner energy; efficiency; environmental services; health; knowledge; quality of life; safety; social property & finance; sustainable transport and water management. Our funds also apply some ethical exclusions to match our clients' values and we engage with company management to encourage improvements in business standards and a shift towards sustainable development.
