Founded in 2003, The Living Planet Fund - www.livingplanetfund.com - Management Company is a subsidiary of WWF International.* The primary activity of the company is the creation and the management of responsible investment products that take into consideration not only financial, but also environmental, social and ethical factors.
The company has launched the Living Planet Fund, an investment fund that invests in companies that have a proactive commitment to environment and social issues, and which are either industry leaders or industry innovators. The Fund is committed to achieving competitive financial performance whilst allowing institutional as well as private investors the opportunity to align their ethical convictions with their investment aspirations.
The Fund has a best in class approach, exclusion criteria and companies considered for inclusion in the Fund are measured against four sets of indicators, these being environmental policy, production processes, social behaviour and adherence to externally certified standards.
The Fund is UCITs compliant, has a 'European Passport', and has been approved for marketing and distribution to the general public in various countries, including Luxembourg, Switzerland, Germany and France.
