Carbon compensation

The 17th Le Monde article (PDF in English and in French) was published on January 6th 2009 covering the following question: « Carbon compensation, easy way out or true ecological tool? ». The article provides examples of companies in the transportation industry, not only air transport which are compensating for their CO2 emissions to meet latest regulations. Data was sourced from Ernst & Young while the French Social Investment Forum assisted with the analysis.
