Eurosif Update
February 2007
Eurosif Sector Report Programme continues
Eurosif has received funding from the EC to produce 4 additional sector reports before this summer. These reports aim at helping investors, policy makers and the public better understand risks that lie outside the realms of traditional financial analysis, but may influence investments. Each report provides information on ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) issues facing the sector and discusses product innovation, regulations, and strategies used to address them.
We will be concentrating on the following sectors: Food production, Insurance, Property, and Paper & Forestry.
Eurosif member affiliates that are interested in working on any of the above listed sectors may contact Marion de Marcillac as soon as possible.
Eurosif is participating in promoting CSR tools in the SRI community
Partnering with SOMO (Centre for Research on Multinational Corporations) and OECD Watch, Eurosif will help promote the convergence of CSR tools in the SRI community based on the OECD Guidelines. Over the next few months two dialogue sessions will be held with European SRI agencies, and four fact sheets will be produced outlining key CSR issues in selected thematic areas related to the OECD Guidelines.
