FIR (Forum pour l'Investissement Responsable) - France
Third edition of the FIR “Financial and Sustainability” European Research Award deadline: October 27th
In order to support and show the value of SRI research in France and in Europe, the French Social Investment Forum (FIR) rewards research projects that contribute to the development of knowledge in the field of “Finance and Sustainability”. Eurosif is a proud partner of this initiative.
Organised in partnership with “Le Monde”, three awards of 5,000€ each are given each year. The FIR has also decided to finance three grants of 3,000€ each on “Financial Instruments”, “Finance & Social Issues” and “SRI Marketing products”.
Applications should be sent to award@frenchsif.org before October 27th.
FFS (Forum per la Finanza Sostenibile) - Italy
SRI and pension funds
FFS and Mefop (Company for the Development of Pension Funds market, which recently joined the Italian SIF) organised a one-day technical seminar on SRI on September 25th in Rome. The Italian pension industry, following the implementation of the recent reform, is experiencing a dramatic growth that will also affect the quality of investment policies. UKSIF (UK Social Investment Forum) - United Kingdom
UKSIF report celebrates 15 years
The UK Social Investment Forum has published a report 'Sustainable and Responsible Finance in the UK' to celebrate its first fifteen years. The report highlights UKSIF's achievements since its launch in 1991 and gives perspectives on Sustainable and Responsible Finance in the UK today from twelve industry leaders.
