04 September 2024

Cléa Gobet joined Eurosif in September 2024 for a six-month internship. She supports the team on administration, finance, communication, and policy-related tasks.

Born in Switzerland, Clea holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the University of Geneva, where she first delved into the world of sustainable finance through her thesis on the influence of partisanship on the adoption of carbon capture and storage (CCS) technology in Europe. She then moved to the Netherlands to get her master’s degree in public administration, with a specialisation in economics and governance, at Leiden University. Clea concluded her studies by writing a quantitative thesis examining the impact of R&D investments on labour dynamics at the European level, graduating with honors.

While gaining her first professional experience in the workshop department of the Swiss Student Diplomacy Association in Geneva, she honed her organisation and communication skills, further enhancing them as a student mentor for her degree track in the Netherlands.
