Anne Risse
Anne Risse is Eurosif’s Policy and Communication Officer, contributing across policy, research, advocacy, and communications. Her work focuses on corporate sustainability reporting rules and on leveraging public finance to help mobilise private investment.
Anne holds a master’s degree in communication from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. She graduated with honors receiving the university’s Jan Loisen Academic Merit award. Her thesis on international climate communication was nominated for the Future Proef Award by the Flemish higher education system. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in general linguistics and law, focusing on EU public law, from the University of Tübingen in Germany.
Before joining the team in January 2024, Anne had supported Eurosif as an intern, before going on to gain further experience in advocating for sustainability in an internship at the Brussels-based forest organisation Fern. Alongside her studies, Anne also worked in the environmental department of Vrije Universiteit Brussel and assisted in Greenpeace Germany’s climate campaigns as an intern.
