Eurosif seeks its new Executive Director

17 May 2022

Eurosif seeks a new Executive Director to guide the organisation into the next phase of its strategic growth and development as it announces the departure of Victor van Hoorn in the summer.

Eurosif, the European Sustainable Investment Forum announced that Victor van Hoorn is to step down in the summer and a process to recruit a new Executive Director to lead the organisation’s future growth and development has commenced.

The Eurosif Executive Board undertook a strategic review in 2019, and employed Victor Van Hoorn as Executive Director in September 2020 to implement the review’s findings. Thanks to his contribution, the association has become a strong voice for the European sustainable investment community, working closely with policymakers in Brussels to help shape the development and rollout of the EU Sustainable Finance Action Plan.

The Board has started recruitment for a successor and will make further announcements in due course.

Will Oulton, Chair of Eurosif “Eurosif’s core objective is to support the efficient development and implementation of sustainable finance across the EU. The board wishes to warmly thank Victor for his contribution over the past two years as Executive Director in leading the transition of Eurosif towards its new focus. The organisation is now more robust than ever, with a strong team in place to help members navigate the complexities of the EU Sustainable Finance Action Plan and investors and policy makers reach their sustainability objectives. We are looking for a strong and committed person to lead the association in its next phase of growth and further embed this strategic roadmap."
